Mission

“The mission of Faith Baptist Church is to exemplify a fervent faith in our Living God and our Risen Christ through which an effective witness can be seen and used to bring persons into fellowship, nurture and support among ourselves. Faith Baptist strives to accomplish this mission through different modes of ministry such as evangelism, education, missions, recreation, family life issues and social concerns, which provide opportunities for the congregants to reach out to the community to minister to the life needs of the whole person.”

We love you and we will pray without ceasing that you surrender to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior so that you may begin to experience the love, joy and peace of life anew in Christ.

In fact, you can begin right now!

Just follow these six easy steps to receive salvation through Jesus Christ:

Step 1

Be true to yourself and true with God in acknowledging your past sins, current sins, and your desire to commit yourself to Him. Acknowledge this reality and be very honest when you talk to God.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Step 2

Realize that Jesus Christ died to free us from the penalty of sin and to pardon us from sin.

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Step 3

Realize that man was disobedient to God.

Romans 5: 12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Step 4

Realize that sin brings about spiritual death, which ultimately brings about physical death.

Romans 6:23 “ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Step 5

Realize that we are in a constant struggle to do good. When we desire to do good, evil is always present.

Romans 7:13-25 “Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Step 6

To escape this struggle, which is designed to destroy and defeat you: acknowledge your sin, confess your sin with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. You are now Saved! Praise the Lord! You are no longer a slave to sin.

Romans 10:9-10,13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Your salvation is forever………you are now God’s property.

John 10:29 “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
